Villa Eugenie is an events company, which, by its experience and its history, the personality of its creator and a multidisciplinary team, develops development strategy advice in the short, medium and long term. Initially dedicated to fashion and the fashion world, it is today involved in all the sectors and trades of luxury and art, high jewellery and perfume, and contemporary art or opera. Recognised and hailed from its earliest days for its catwalks, its transitory installations, its product and magazine launches and its institutional presentations, it is today many other things as well. It no longer has any limits of interest, nor any geographical limits, but above all no limits in terms of challenge.
The long-term image strategy advice evolves as a matter of evidence, the partnership element as a certainty. It is a question of natural growth induced by a relationship of trust between a client and a “conductor”. The framework of the event, the moment, in the strictest sense, is exceeded for a more comprehensive grasp of all the issues relating to image: creation of the Hugo Boss Berlin store concept for the Hugo brand, search for shops and showrooms for Dries Van Noten, lighting of the Chanel windows are but some examples.
Villa Eugenie today has clients with the most prestigious names, from Dries Van Noten to Chanel, from Hermès to Hugo Boss, from Miu Miu to Lanvin. Its excellent knowledge of the capitals and their particularities, as well as the trust that is placed in it, enables the Villa Eugenie to be exported. Based in Brussels, it operates today in the whole world, from Paris to Tokyo, from Florence to Hong Kong or Berlin as well as in the United States in New York and Miami where it has a permanent office.
Villa Eugenie’s know-how and specificity is to capture the spirit of the times, and to enshrine it within an exceptional house and with the singularity of its team. It is also a concern for exigency and for an insatiable perfection, and a fully comprehensive pragmatism oriented towards the imaginary.
Of its place of origin, all that remains is the emblematic name of Villa Eugenie. Etienne and his team are installed since October 2004 in a former factory a short distance from Brussels South, the Station of the Crossroads of the Capitals. The space that is bedecked by an immense glass canopy has been redesigned by the Ghent architect, Glenn Sestig, in a minimalist genre and purified yet animated by the contribution of coarse materials. Etienne’s team, which includes 15 permanent members, reflects the image of the place: efficient, energetic and harmonious. People with different career horizons and from different backgrounds routinely speak no less than ten languages there. As for the outside contributors; sound illustrators, photographic directors, chief operators, architects, decorators, project managers, they are equal to the house’s requirement for perfection, the best of their generation.
Because no element is left to chance, because the smallest of details is not fortuitous, because the random is impossible and the unforeseen a challenge, each event becomes an exceptional moment.
